Your Orders

Welcome to The Busy Barn!

Try shopping at our online store and you will find it a breeze to navigate and place orders for our stuff. Simply register for an account in the system and you can start shopping.

If you still find it a hassle to place an order through our webstore, you may, alternatively, send us an e-mail with details of your intended purchase. Payment can still be made via PayPal, cheque, cash (on delivery) and bank transfer. Please advise us of your payment preference and we will sort out the rest!

Please note if paying by PayPal, cheque or bank transfer - items will only be delivered or mailed out when payment has been received and cleared.

For your own security, never e-mail card payment details as this is not a secure process.

Please do not send cash to us by post.

WHOLESALE ORDERS
For wholesale orders, please email us for prices.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS
We welcome orders from outside Singapore too! Simply send us an email stating your orders** and full address. We will check out the postage fee required to mail the items to your home and get back to you as soon as we can. Orders must be paid for by Credit Card via PayPal as we cannot accept foreign cheques.

**Prices stated in the catalog are exclusive of overseas postage.

 


Our Delivery Service

BULKY ITEM
Under normal circumstances, home delivery will be made for bulky items. Home delivery is free for orders (consisting at least 1 bulky item) amounting to S$50 and above (based on prices after discounts, if any). For orders of less than S$50, we will need to charge a S$10 service fee. This is to cover the ever-rising fuel costs.

Your bulky items will be delivered within a guaranteed 3 delivery days after you have placed the order or after clearance of funds (for options of payment through a cheque, bank transfer or Paypal).

We will be out with the deliveries during the following time:
Weekdays - 6pm to 10pm
Saturdays - 12pm to 10pm

(Sundays and public holidays are rest days for us to spend some binky time with our bunnies!)

Should you require any delivery made outside of these timings, an additional charge of $10 will apply. A SMS will be sent to your contact phone to confirm the delivery date and time after we received your order.

SMALL & LIGHT ITEM
For small items (as indicated in the product catalog), you may choose to receive the goods through:
(a) normal postage; or
(b) registered mail (an additional S$2.50 on top of the usual postage).

For delivery through normal mail, we will not be able to track the status and location of the package. We will also not be liable nor responsible for any loss and/or damage to the goods we sent out through normal mail. (So far, we have not met any problems with normal postage - SingPost is quite reliable!). If you would like to track the status of delivery of the package or personally receive the package, we would greatly encourage you to choose the registered mail option.

For delivery through the normal post or registered mail, it may take between 2 and 5 days before the order can reach you.

If you need something urgently, please e-mail us - we will do all we can to accomodate your needs.

Should any item be out of stock at the time of order, the order is normally part delivered with the out of stock item following once in stock. Should there be any unforseen delays or issues with the order we will e-mail and discuss options. We will always endeavour to ensure customer satisfaction and will do all we can to meet customer requirements where possible.

 


Packaging

To do our little bit for our mother earth, we will always, where possible, re-use packaging materials when we mail out your orders. We strive to ensure our packaging materials are either recycleable or recycled/re-used to minimise our impact to landfill. This may result in odd-looking packaging or perhaps not the most attractive boxes used. However, we believe what is most important is to ensure that your order is delivered to you in good conditions. Why should the packaging matter so much, right?

 


Our Return Policy

Please feel free to return any items purchased from The Busy Barn or received as a gift. We ask that the items be returned within 7 days of receipt. If you wish to make a return, please call us at +65 6893 9251 or drop us an email. We regret to inform that food items (including hay and pellets) that have been opened or used, as well as cages and litterpans that have been used cannot be returned.

If you are returning a product because it was defective or damaged or we have mailed an item in error, The Busy Barn will arrange to have it picked up or we will pay for the return mail costs. Please retain all of the original packing materials. Upon confirmation of the defects or damages to the products, we will resend the order at no additional charge.

A refund will be made in the same form of payment originally used for purchase. Expect the refund between 7 and 14 business days after we receive the returned item(s). You will be credited for the merchandise total and tax, if applicable. We cannot accept items that have been damaged, altered or used.

Should any item be supplied as faulty we will exchange or refund as required. Please inform us of any problems as soon after delivery as possible.

Should an item be no longer required, we may or may not be able to offer a refund depending on the type of item involved. Please contact us to discuss and we will do all we can to help.
