Oxbow’s Papaya Fruit Plus contains a measureable concentration of active enzymes. Made from the freshest papaya and pineapple (natural sources of digestive enzymes papain and bromelain), Papaya Fruit Plus contains guaranteed levels of active enzymes that are present at a higher level than can be achieved by feeding the same amount of natural fruit.

Designed specifically for small animals, Papaya Fruit Plus contains no simple sugars, such as sucrose or corn syrup, and is artificial color and preservative free. Try using this great tasting supplement as a training aid or as a treat to reward your special pet.

The scientific community is still undecided on whether feeding papaya or pineapple is really effective. But some rabbit owners claim that supplementing with digestive enzymes is the only way they can prevent hairballs in their rabbits, other owners say they see no difference.

The best prevention for hairballs is an ample consumption of fiber in the diet, provided by large quantities of grass hay.

Feeding Directions:
Offer 1-2 tablets daily or as directed by a veterinarian. Breaking the tablet in half will release aroma to enhance consumption.

Hide the tablet in your pet's hay and allow him to search for it. Crush the tablet and sprinkle on your pet's favorite Oxbow hay. Use Papaya Fruit Plus tablets as a training aid or form of enrichment. Offer tablet on the floor at playtime, the same as a treat.
